About IACC
Local hands. Real protection.
International Air Conditioning Coatings is a family-run shop based out of Waipahu, serving Hawaii since 1990 — over 35 years of protecting the islands’ AC systems. Most of our work is large commercial and industrial coating — bulk units, chillers, rooftop plants, and jobs for contractors, the State of Hawaii, and military facilities across Oahu. Residential and smaller home systems are part of what we do, too, with the same shop standards.
Hawaiian Air is hard on Air Conditioning Units. Salt drift from the coast, year-round humidity, and constant trade winds eat through aluminum fins, copper fittings, and unit casings faster than most mainland-rated equipment is built for. We treat every system like it has to weather a few decades of that, because most of them do. Blygold coatings we apply are backed by a 3-year warranty.

Hawaii air is hard on outdoor AC equipment. Blygold adds a protective coating to coils and exposed metal parts so they can better handle salt air and humidity. IACC has been Blygold’s exclusive Hawaii partner for over 25 years — the only locally based team authorized to apply their coatings statewide. We specialize in large tonnage and industrial-scale jobs; residential systems get the same process when they come through the door. Coatings we apply are covered by a 3-year warranty. Inside & out
We don’t just coat the coils. We protect the whole unit.
Blygold handles the inside — coils and internal components. For the outer cabinet and casing, we use PSX-700, an industrial-grade siloxane coating that’s built to sit in the Hawaiian sun year after year without fading, chalking, or breaking down.
Most exterior paints chalk and fade after a couple of summers in salt air. PSX-700 is different — it holds its color and gloss, resists dirt and mildew buildup, and forms a tough barrier against rust. It’s the same coating used on bridges and industrial plants, just applied to your AC unit.
